About us

Who we are

Aerial Inspection Robotics Limited (AIR) is a UK based company providing aerial film and photography services. Using purpose built Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) we work in various sectors to bring cutting edge UAV technology to the business of industrial asset inspection and film work.

AIR is fully insured and all of our pilots are highly experienced and qualified under the CAA approved BNUC-S scheme. Our work is delivered under Permission to do Aerial Work permits provided by the Civil Aviation Authority.

AIR was founded in 2014 by Hambi Haralambous and Andy Mccluskey. Following a successful career in the music industry Hambi went on to do an MA in New Digital Media and subsequently developed a second successful career as a film maker. After working with UAVs on a film project in early 2013 Hambi recognised the wealth of opportunity that this exciting new technology offered.

Hambi has spent his career working in the creative industries and, having incorporated the company, he quickly built a team around him to bring on board expertise in UAV design and manufacture and industrial inspection.

At AIR we operate at the cutting edge of developments in our industry and all of our machines are purpose built. Industrial Inspection offers enormous scope for innovation in the merging of UAV and NDT technologies and we look forward to developing new inspection solutions for clients.

AIR exists to help our clients get the very best from UAV technology by catering for their inspection and filming needs and reducing costs and risks on projects.

We also partner with rope access specialists Specialised Access Solutions Ltd (SAS) using high resolution cameras to produce detailed industrial inspection reports.
